We’re excited to share that Anja has just released the first single from her forthcoming album — a project we’ve had the pleasure of shaping here at West Music Production.

This release marks the beginning of a larger musical journey Anja has been crafting with great care. Every song on the album is composed by Anja herself, and the entire project has been produced here in the studio by Henrik West, capturing the raw authenticity and emotional clarity that defines her sound.

A Horn Section With Personality

The horn section for this single brings a vibrant, soulful layer to the track. Saxophonist Thomas Edinger not only performed but also arranged the horn parts, shaping a sound that blends energy, nuance, and character.

Joining Thomas in the horn section are:

  • Thomas Edinger – saxophone & horn arrangement

  • Ketil Duckert – trumpet

  • Nikolai Bøgelund – trombone

Together, they created a tight, expressive, and melodic horn sound that lifts the entire production.

The Rhythm Section: Groove, Precision, and Heart

Supporting Anja’s musical vision is a seasoned rhythm section that locks in effortlessly:

  • Jeppe Gram – drums

  • Henrik West – bass

  • Lars DK – piano

  • Nikolaj Bloch – guitar

This lineup brought depth, groove, and a warm musical backbone to the track. From the subtle rhythmic details to the dynamic interplay, the rhythm section helped shape the single’s emotional flow and overall feel.
